The ASEAN BUSINESS AWARDS 2010

“Most Admired Asean Enterprises”

Since establishment ASEAN forty years ago, Captains of ASEAN Industries and companies have contributed, in no small measures, to ASEAN common goal of economic integration. The ASEAN Business Advisory Council(ASEAN-BAC) organize annual ASEAN Business Awards(ABA) to recognize such outstanding and successful ASEAN companies contributing to ASEAN’s economic growth and prosperity. ABA also aims to showcase promising ASEAN SMEs with the potential to be global players. ABA 2010 is the continuation from the success of the inaugural ABA in commemoration of the ASEAN 40^th anniversary in Singapore.

An ABA 201 Committee has been set-up and National Gateways established comprising of ASEAN-BAC Council members.

The Committee works with KPMG Limited, as the strategic partner. The strategic partner helps to implement the ABA 2010 Framework and will shortlist eligible companies for on-site interviews finalists will be selected by an independent judging panel comprising top business leaders, economists and academics from ASEAN countries.

Winner of ABA will be announced at the closing ceremony Gala Dinner of the 2010 ASEAN-BIS, the 201 ASEAN-BIS is held in October /November 2010, in conjunction with 16^th ASEAN Summit in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Winner of ABA 2010 will be recognized as the “ Most Admired ASEAN Enterprises” conferred in the following categories:

• Growth

• Innovation

• Employment

• Corporate Social Responsibility

Private sector companies from each of ASEAN’s 10 member countries are invited to submit nominations to the ABA 2010.
