Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) was established in 1989, and has actually 1057 members, LNCCI is the social organization of the business people, it is the connection between the state organization and the enterprise units and it is the representative for the employers and other association, joint venture and other private enterprise within entire agencies that established under the laws of Lao PDR.

The principal responsibility of the LNCCI Board is to maintain the links between local Industries and various Government ministries and agencies with the views to expand trade and Investment. The Chamber also seeks to eliminate impediments that hinder the competiveness of Lao enterprises in international markets. In addition. LNCCI authorized to issue Certificate of Origin ( C O ) for products manufactured in Lao PDR.

To assist the chamber, a number of standing Committee and commissions have been set up for advertising the board and its members on the Lao Government policies and regulations related to economic and financial sectors such as in agriculture and forestry, industry and Handicraft, Textile, transport and communications, telecommunications and construction, Commerce and trade, education and training, Banking and finance, labour and welfare, and foreign affairs. Establish / Unite, educate/monitor in order to ease state/private and Including Business groups and Associations.
